As she continues to fight for her life, Bobbi Kristina Brown's father Bobby Brown has released a statement via his lawyer Christopher Brown regarding his daughter’s marital status.
The attorney told Us Weekly, "We are currently investigating the events that led to the hospitalization of Bobbi Kristina. To correct earlier reports, Bobbi Kristina is not and has never been married to Nick Gordon." Bobby also stated, "We continue to request privacy in this matter. Please allow for our family to deal with this matter and give Bobbi Kristina the love and support she needs at this time."
Apparently, the confusion stems from a Twitter post back in January 2014 in which Brown and Gordon showed off their wedding bands. They captioned the photograph, "@nickgordon! #HappilyMarried SO #InLove. If you didn't get it the first time that is."
