Winter is finally gone, and Elizabeth Olsen looks bright-eyed and bushy-tailed on the cover of FASHION magazine’s May 2015 issue.
The “Avenger: Age of Ultron” actress dons a DSquared2 top and skirt as she smiles for the camera, manned by photographer Chris Nicholls.
Elizabeth tells Fashion that she’s not interested in utilizing social media despite its popularity with fellow celebrities- “I don’t [use] social media, and I feel like that’s how people control their image. My image, in my mind, is just to disappear. I just want people to see the work that I’m proud of. I feel like you let people touch you when you have Instagram or Twitter, and I don’t want to be touched all the time. I’m not going to do it—ever.”
As for the resurgence of the feminist movement, Olsen notes, “Feminism has been such an obsession and no one really knows what definition anyone is talking about. It’s such a hot topic. Of course, women should have equal pay—I care about being equal to anyone else. [The word equality] is a very important part of the history of women’s rights.”
