Zac Efron had Sami Miro by his side to celebrate his wins at the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday night. Although the couple didn't walk the red carpet together, Sami posted a cute backstage snap on Instagram. She wore a short, long-sleeved black dress to the show, and Zac was all smiles with his arm around her in the photo. The pair's date night came just a few weeks after Sami opened up about their blossoming relationship in an interview with Elle, saying of his fame, "I've never spoken about us before, but, um, it's definitely different. I think that you have to take that [kind of attention] with a grain of salt, and put yourself in other people's positions. I think that's actually a really big part of it, putting yourself in their shoes, and trying to understand where they're coming from, and then it kinds of makes sense."
Sunday's award show was a fun night for Zac, who was among this year's MTV Movie Award winners. He took home the award for best shirtless performance thanks to his role in Neighbors, plus best duo with his costar Dave Franco. Once again, Zac went shirtless during the show, and at one point, Dave joined him on stage to re-create their Robert De Niro scene from Neighbors.
